Looking for a great group of people in South Austin to run with? Join us as we start the Circle C Running Club! We plan on starting off with some beginner to intermediate runs, in the 3-5 mile range (with a more advanced 8+ mile group coming soon), and walking at any point is definitely ok! We always meet and finish at the Koko FitClub at Slaughter Ln and Mopac right in front of the new Alamo Drafthouse. A water station is provided at the club. See you soon!
The groups purpose is to meet up for trail running. Join if you are comfortable on the trails and if you can run at least for 50 min without stopping. The trail is an equalizer for speed, so don't worry too much about speed. We may also sometimes post beginner runs, but will clearly identify the no drop runs. We are a group of runners and walkers training for a marathon or half marathon. We have two groups in Austin. Team Challenge is a fundraising program for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Starting in August we will be recruiting runners and walkers for our Inaugural Team in the Austin area. Team Challenge members will be training to rock The Strip at Night in the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon on December 4, 2011 while raising funds to support the vital mission of CCFA.

The goal of this group is to promote self-organizing pick-up games (no officials, coaches, etc. will be there to direct) for all ages. Small-Sided soccer play develops quick feet, close dribbling, passing, and finishing skills. Currently, we support mixed age games with kids 9 and up thru adults (depending on ability and courage!).
